Dr. Frederick Steinmann is the Director of the University Center for Economic Development at the University of Nevada, Reno. He leads the Nevada Lithium Battery and Other EV Materials Loop Regional Technology and Innovation Hub, designated by the US Economic Development Administration to advance innovation and sustainable growth.

Frederick’s work focuses on fostering regional economic development and technology-driven competitiveness. As a researcher and advisor, he helps strengthen collaboration between academia, government, and industry to build resilient innovation ecosystems.
